Travel Diary // Koh Chang

Comme vous le savez, j'habite à Bangkok, cela permet donc à ma famille et moi de voyager en Asie et plus principalement autour de la Thaïlande.

Cette année, ma maman avait décidé que nous repartirions à Koh Chang ( cela étant très simple car il ne faut pas prendre l'avion) L'hôtel était juste TOP!

Ces vacances étaient vraiment formidables : des heures de bronzettes, mes sœurs à mes côtés, des couchers de soleil splendides, des restos super sympas et pour finir des rigolades à se faire des abdos ahah:')

As you may know, I live in Bangkok, so it allows my family and I to travel around Asia and mostly around Thailand. Last year we had been to Koh Chang, and we had probably fell upon the worst hotel possible ... cockroaches in the rooms, dirty rooms, tiny pool, I'll skip all the details.

We had however found the island fun, we had a boat trip, saw waterfalls and the other hotels looked nice! This year, my mom decided that we were going back to Koh Chang (which is very simple cause you don't have to take the airplane) but in a slightly nicer hotel ahah. And that is the least we can say! Because the hotel was just AWESOME! These holidays were really great: hours of sunbathing, my sisters by my side, gorgeous sunsets, very nice restaurants and enough jokes to make abs ahah: ')

Ce que je vous conseille de faire à Koh Chang :

- faire un tour en bateau pour admirer les îles autour de Koh Chang

- marcher jusqu'aux chutes d'eau

- trouver une compagnie qui propose de la plongée

- possibilité de faire un trek dans la jungle

- aller diner aux restaurants Mo4, plats français, super bon, ou Tonsaï, plats thaï, également très bon!

- louer un scooter et se balader autour de l'ile

Bien sur, je n'ai pas fait tous ces péripeties, mais quelqu'unes d'entres elles avaient l'air chouette alors a vous de tester;)

What I would recommend to do in Koh Chang:

-enjoy a boat trip to admire the islands around Koh Chang

- walk to waterfalls

- find a company that offers diving

- possibility of trekking in the jungle

- for dining : Mo4, european dishes, super good, or Tonsai, thai dishes, also very good!

- rent a scooter to travel around the island

Of course, I did not do all these trips, but some of them looked fun so why not try them! ;)

Pour finir, j'aime particulierement Koh Chang pour ses couchers de soleil, or, si vous venez pour la premiere fois en Thailande, je ne vous conseillerai pas forcément Koh Chang. Vous trouverez d'autres îles plus festives que Koh Chang... par exemple : Koh Samiu, Koh Samet, Phuket, Krabi etc...

I especially like Koh Chang for its sunsets, but if you're coming for the first time in Thailand, I wouldn't advise you Koh Chang. You will find other islands more festive than Koh Chang ... for example: Koh Samiu, Koh Samet, Phuket, Krabi etc ...
